The way to go - follow the alphabet from A - Y and you can see we plan to cross Switzerland twice - east to west via Zurich, Konstanz, the Rhine Falls, Berne and Lausanne.
On reaching Geneva, we turn east again and traverse the lakes route via Montreux, Interlaken, Lucerne and Lindau on our way to Munich.
The route is meant to take us between the mountains, not over them - time will tell.
