July 15th - 17th: Murten and Neuchatel and Grandson by the water.

Somewhere, over the ...........

Not all plain sailing today - the rain of the last few days had taken a toll of the track - we cycled for 500 metres in foot deep water - saturated shoes and socks.

En route to Murten - a place to dry the socks.

Rosemary insisted on stopping here for the view ..... of the Alps!  What could I say?

AirB&B at Murten - a lovely room on a farm at the edge of the town.

Alfresco dining

Rosemary and friends

Michael slaving over a hot oven!

Time to say goodbye to Murten and to our hosts - Renate, Markus and the puppy!

Murten streetscape.

En route to Neuchatel - you can't get away from them!

Good to see - these cyclists have been well treated

Another perfect picnic spot

Mien hosts - Georges and Gina, the chocolate brown labrador.  Georges was most accommodating, sharing meals, shopping, walks and local knowledge.

Goodbye to Neuchatel
