August 4th: Four countries in one day- Switzerland, Leitchtenstein, Austria and Germany

We picked up the Rhine this morning on a bicycle super highway that saw us make short work of 80 kilometres.

Starting in Switzerland, we waved goodbye to Ulla at Bad Regaz.

We crossed a bridge on the Rhine to acknowledge the existence of Leitchtenstein.

We visited the Bregenz opera stadium in Austria.

At day's end we were a limitless too snug in Lindau, Germany.

Not a bad pile of rocks.

Roundabout furniture - Lobby Lloyd would have been proud!

Loves a beer!

Back at the Bodensee - the sun shines and the bathers come out - near Bregenz in Austria

Austria's famous Bregenz opera venue features a stage located in the lake Bodensee facing a huge stadium lakeside.

Lindau  Insel (island) by night was very pretty

Not so pretty - our Lindau Insel hotel room - the smallest I have encountered, Wi-Fi that didn't work and a garrulous hotel manager that took responsibility for nothing.

You win some, ........
